Baked Italian Sliders

Baked Italian Sliders

If you need something quick, cheesy and guaranteed to disappear fast, these Baked Italian Sliders are an easy recipe to keep on hand.

Soft Hawaiian rolls are layered with ham, salami, pepperoni and provolone, then brushed with a buttery Parmesan and Italian seasoning topping before being baked until warm, melty and golden.

With just 10 minutes of prep and about 20 minutes in the oven, these sliders work just as well for an easy weeknight dinner as they do for parties, game days or feeding a hungry crowd.

Why You’ll Love These Baked Italian Sliders

These sliders have all the flavors of an Italian-style sandwich packed into warm, buttery little rolls.

Instead of assembling each sandwich individually, you slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half, add all your meat and cheese at once and bake everything together. Once they’re finished, simply cut them into individual sliders and serve.

They’re quick, require very little cleanup and can easily be paired with a simple side to turn them into dinner.

What to Serve With Italian Sliders

These sliders are filling enough to be the main dish, especially when you add a simple side.

For an easy weeknight dinner, serve them with a green salad, fresh fruit, roasted vegetables or even chips. You could also pair them with a bowl of tomato soup or a simple pasta salad.

If you’re serving them for a party or game day, add marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Easy Ways to Change Them Up

One of the best things about sliders is how easy they are to customize.

You can add more or less of any of the meats, swap provolone for mozzarella, or add sliced banana peppers for a little extra flavor. A thin layer of marinara can also give them more of a pizza-inspired flavor.

If your family has different preferences, you can even make each half of the sliders a little different before baking.

Tips for the Best Baked Sliders

Keep the Hawaiian rolls connected while you’re assembling everything. It makes layering the ingredients much faster and helps the sliders bake evenly.

Covering them with foil during the first part of baking allows the cheese to melt without letting the tops of the rolls get too dark. Removing the foil for the last few minutes gives you those buttery, golden tops.

And definitely serve these while they’re warm—that’s when the cheese is perfectly melted and the rolls are soft and buttery.

Perfect for Dinner, Parties or Game Day

These Baked Italian Sliders are one of those recipes that can work for almost anything.

Make them for a quick family dinner, set out a tray for game day, bring them to a party or make a batch when you need something simple to feed a group.

They’re cheesy, buttery and packed with Italian-inspired flavors—and you can have the whole pan ready in about 30 minutes.
