If your idea of a great Labor Day weekend includes live music, wide-open Eastern Washington skies, local food and a road trip somewhere a little different, FarmJam Music & Camping Festival might be worth putting on your calendar.
FarmJam returns September 4–6, 2026, in Colville, Washington, for three days of music, camping and community on an actual working family farm.
And yes, it really is a farm.
Music on a Working Farm
FarmJam takes place on 90 acres at 73 Oakshott Road in Colville, on land that has been farmed by the same family for generations.
Instead of trying to recreate a big-city music festival in a rural setting, FarmJam leans into what makes Northeastern Washington special. The farm, surrounding landscape and agricultural roots are all part of the experience.
The festival focuses on original and independent music, giving artists a professional stage and giving festivalgoers a chance to discover musicians they may not have heard before.
The 2026 festival runs Friday, September 4 through Sunday, September 6, making it an easy excuse to turn Labor Day weekend into a road trip from Spokane.
Stay for the Weekend
Want to make a weekend of it? You can camp right on the farm.
FarmJam offers camping for tents, RVs, campers and trailers, with campers able to begin arriving Thursday, September 3.
Just don’t expect a manicured campground.
This is genuine farm camping. General campsites may be uneven, and campers should come prepared with their own supplies. Camping passes are also separate from festival admission, so make sure you have both if you’re planning to stay overnight.
Prefer a real bed and a hot shower? You can stay off-site and return to the festival each day with your wristband.
Come Hungry
FarmJam isn’t only about the music.
Food vendors, arts-and-crafts vendors and a farmers market featuring local produce and food are part of the weekend as well.
That local agricultural connection is one of the things I like most about this festival. You’re not simply attending a concert that happens to have a farm in the background. The farm and the people connected to this part of Washington are part of the event.
Bring the Family
FarmJam is an all-ages festival, and children age 5 and younger are admitted free.
If you’re bringing kids, remember that this is a multi-day outdoor event. Eastern Washington weather around Labor Day can mean warm afternoons followed by much cooler evenings, so layers, sunscreen and a little advance planning can make the weekend much more comfortable.

Is FarmJam Worth the Drive From Spokane?
I think this is one of those events that could make for a memorable end-of-summer weekend.
You get the road trip north, a working Eastern Washington farm, live independent music, local food, camping if you want it and a setting that’s completely different from your typical concert venue.
Sometimes the best local adventures aren’t right in Spokane. They’re the places that give you a reason to get in the car and see a little more of the region we get to call home.
FarmJam looks like a pretty good excuse to do exactly that.
